With the outstanding technical advantages and excellent product quality, ZOZEN successfully gained the favor of a palm oil processing plant in Sri Lanka recently. ZOZEN Deputy General Manager Mr. Liu led a team to Sri Lanka for an exchange of technology.
The palm oil processing plant planned to introduce several steam boilers to expand the scale of production. To reduce the fuel cost, the plant decided to use palm shell, palm fiber and palm fruit bunches as fuel. These kinds of fuels are efficient biomass fuels that feature high calorific value and less fuel moisture. But there are very high technical requirements for biomass-fired boilers with the fuel characteristic of low melting point, high content of volatilization, easy to bond and corrode. The palm oil processing plant conducted a long-time research and analysis on local biomass-fired boiler market, but all boilers failed to satisfy them. As the "One Belt, One Road" policy moves further, the plant determined to imported several biomass-fired boilers from China.
ZOZEN successfully attracted the attention of the oil plant with the good reputation and market share, and the oil plant invited ZOZEN technical team to Sir Lanka for exchanges and investigations.
The ZOZEN biomass-fired boiler insists on technology innovation and breakthrough, and it has optimized design for different fuels, for length and width of feeding hopper, rotary speed of gearbox, primary and second air ratio, vapor orientation and position etc., each fuel has different boiler design. The above features ensure the sufficient output, high thermal efficiency and stable operation of the boiler. Due to the high volatilization and low ash content of the biomass fuel, the grate that has no ash coverage is susceptible to high temperature radiation after combustion is completed; hence, ZOZEN has deliberately chosen the heat resisting grate bars to adapt to the combustion characteristics of biomass fuel.
The palm oil processing plant gave the full affirmation of the major breakthroughs that ZOZEN had made in the aspects of biomass-fired boiler technology, and had reached preliminary cooperation intention with ZOZEN.
